Is it me or shouldn’t every month be autism awareness month? It doesn’t make much sense that we’re saturated with media for 4 weeks out of the year, and everyone forgets about us for the rest of the year.
Ah, but I should be grateful for the attention right?
Speaking of attention, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned about a couple of really good newsletters I get in my box every day that alert me to things that are being said and done in the world of autism that should get my attention. The first is The Schaefer News Report and the other indespensible one is AHA
I’d be lost without the daily info I receive from these reports, which give me the best of the best info and news related to autism and high functioning autism out there in print, magazines and online media.
There’s more to write, there always is… so much to say, but so little time. Maybe next time, we’ll get into the whole basketball team story… for right now though, my kid needs to be challenged on the Mario cart wii racing game… he beats me every time, maybe this time, I’ll be lucky.

Just coming up to electronics time now! But I don’t join in, I go and cook supper instead [maybe I just don't like to be beaten?]
Cheers

Oh, WTF… “indispensible.”
But let’s leave the butchery of the language alone, except for the grammar fuzz…
Campers… we don’t pick our geeks – our geeks pick us. The fun part is knowing which geeks to party with .
So… I’m tired, and I just watched a documentary about Brian Wilson, who seemed way too close to home. Odd thing is, we both interact with other people…
When I got out of high school, I figured I’d reinvent myself… So, went to college, and became a communications/PR major… More of a technician than a people person, but hey… ended up in an R&D atmosphere for about 10 years – very kewl… And now am commencing a job hunt…
